We provide a wide range of services to the Spanish book industry – from research and planning to translation and sales strategies. KARIN N. KISER, FOUNDER Karin N. Kiser, founder and executive director of Kiser & Associates, is an internationally recognized expert on the Spanish book industry in the United States. Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Kiser is a frequent speaker within the publishing industry. She has given seminars in Mexico City, Havana, New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, as well as authored Estrategias para vender libros en español en Estados Unidos. Before founding Kiser & Associates in 1999, Kiser served as international division publisher for a major U.S. company where she acquired, developed and published business, real estate and securities books in Spanish. She has established joint ventures between U.S. and Mexican companies, taught English-as-a second language and served as a translator at the World Cup. Kiser has a master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s in Multinational Organization Studies from St. Mary’s University.
